Testing the Limits of a Smart TV: Can it Survive Battle Damage?
Summary
In this article, we explore the physical limits of a Samsung Smart TV by subjecting it to three different tests: dropping it from a normal height, dropping it from a really high height, and firing a custom potato gun at it. While the TV initially survives the first test, it ultimately succumbs to the extreme damage inflicted by the potato gun.

Test 1: Dropping the TV from a Normal Height
Here on Battle Damage, we test the physical limits of everyday technology. In this case, we test a Samsung Smart TV’s 120Hz refresh rate by dropping it from a normal height. While the TV’s big size initially makes it seem like it can withstand a lot, the wobbliness of the stand absorbs a lot of the initial impact. However, after surviving a five-foot drop, the TV’s survival chances for the next test are only 50-50.
Test 2: Dropping the TV from a Really High Height
For the second test, we drop the TV from a really high height. The stand is super loose, and everything is jiggly inside. Unfortunately, the TV’s screen ends up breaking, rendering it dead.
Test 3: Firing a Custom Potato Gun at the TV
For our third and final test, we use a custom potato gun charged up to 100 PS to shoot at the TV. While we initially thought the potato wouldn’t do much damage, it ends up causing a serious potato-based dent in the TV. In fact, it works so well that we even try shooting soda cans at it. Unfortunately, the TV is ultimately left with a mortal wound.
Conclusion
While the Samsung Smart TV initially seems like it can withstand a lot of physical damage, our tests ultimately prove that it has its limits. From surviving a five-foot drop to succumbing to a potato gun, the TV’s physical durability is put to the test. In the end, it’s clear that even smart technology can’t always withstand the power of Battle Damage.
